What is a Gem credit?

Use one to check a ShopGoodwill or Salvation Army link you found, or unlock Deep Investigate research and its comps. Reopening research you already unlocked is free. Asking for fresh research uses another credit.

Do credits expire?

Purchased Gem credits never expire. Your monthly included allowance resets on the first of each month, in UTC. We use included credits before purchased credits.

Can I start without paying?

Yes. Scout is free, with past gems and five Gem credits per month. No card is required. Paid plans and credit purchases are not available yet.

Does Smalls place bids?

No. Smalls provides watch-only research. Check the condition, costs and comparisons, then place any bid yourself on the auction site.

Does an estimated net mean I will earn that amount?

No. Estimates can be wrong. The final bid, taxes, shipping, selling costs and eventual resale all affect your result. Items may not sell.

Can I cancel a paid plan?

Plans are monthly. Cancellation ends renewal; paid access continues through the paid period. Your saved cost settings are preserved if you return.
