The math on the price
One qualifying gem covers the whole month.
Sourcer is $29/mo. A gem only surfaces once it nets $40+ after every cost — so a single win pays the subscription with $11 to spare ($21 at the $19 founding rate). Everything it finds after that is yours.
The same all-in math we run on every gem — run on the price of the plan.
And the lot itself is better off for it: auction economics says more informed bidders tend to raise what the seller earns, not lower it — a smarter bidder is good for the charity too.
Deep research, priced honestly.
Every plan includes monthly deep Investigate credits that refresh every month, so you always start fresh with your full allotment. Past those, extras will be $0.49 each — or 25 for $9.
Why not “unlimited”? Because each deep check costs us real compute and real sold-comp data, and unlimited plans just make everyone quietly pay for the heaviest user. You only fund the research you actually ask for. That’s the whole model — the same honest math we put on every gem.

What's a deep Investigate?
A full research pass on one specific item: our AI studies every photo, pulls extra real sold comps, calls out maker's marks and risk flags, and hands you a written verdict on what it's really worth. It costs us real research compute each time, so it runs on monthly credits.
Why credits instead of unlimited?
Honesty. Each deep check costs us real compute and real comp data, and "unlimited" would just mean everyone quietly pays for the heaviest user. Credits mean you only ever fund the research you actually ask for.
Do you bid for me?
No. We're watch-only research — we show you the lots that clear your margin floor and the all-in math, and every bid is yours to place. We never touch your auction accounts.
When can I sign up?

How does the founding rate work?
The first 100 members from this list get Sourcer at $19/mo instead of $29/mo, locked in for as long as you stay subscribed. Joining the list costs nothing and reserves your spot in line.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans, no contracts, cancel whenever you like — and if you downgrade, we keep your saved settings so they're right there if you come back.
What happens to my credits each month?
Your deep Investigate credits refresh every month, so you always start fresh with the full monthly allotment. There's no balance to babysit — each month is a clean slate.
What does "net" mean on a gem?
What's left for you after everything: the marketplace's cut, shipping both ways, packaging, a return reserve, and your time. If we show $40 net, that's $40 after the real costs — not before them.
Am I taking advantage of Goodwill or the Salvation Army?
